Der Typ ist als Radiomoderator tätig. Zu der Zeit hatte er Nachtschicht. Um ein Alibi für den Mord an seiner Frau zu haben, ließ er ein Band im Sender laufen. Dieses riss während der Sendung, so dass sein Alibi flöten gegangen ist.
Als er das im Radio mitbekam, war seine Verzweiflung so groß, dass er nur noch Selbstmord als Ausweg sah.
